Picture Messaging to the NEXT LEVEL

I get bored of text messages pretty quickly. I mean, it's like,
    "Hey."
    "Hey."
    "What are you doing?"
    "Homework."
    "Cool story, bro."
    "Then why did you ask?"
     "idk. Wanna get lunch?"
     "Fo sho."
You may laugh, but I can find at least 7 conversations with this script word for word. Thanks to my lovely friend Lucy, I've found a way to spice up the text conversation: pictures. Every time Lucy needs to tell us she's excited, sad, happy, or hungry, she accompanies the text with a selfie of her latest emotion. It may sound silly, but it always makes me smile. Maybe your friends will like it, maybe they won't, but you'll find yourself giggling as you hit send. I promise.

Example A: This would be the "we are so excited to hang out with you tonight!" text.

Get Excited

I'm a fan of cheering, of getting excited about something that has absolutely no impact on the rest of your life. In this case, it was the University-wide talent show UVL. My friends and I made sure to show our enthusiasm for Third North's winner (his hair was inspiration for ours). Win or lose didn't really matter: getting excited about something without the stress of disappointment is like eating your cake with no calories. Win-win!

Update, Shmupdate

Who knew that transitioning from one blog site to the next could take such a toll? And who knew that computers and websites had so many buttons? I can hardly figure out how work a microwave, let alone a blog site. But after a couple hours of work (a welcome break from essay writing), here it is. The new and improved Stressin'.
     Please enjoy!
